During Children’s Mental Health Week 5th-11th February 2024, HKF promoted the theme “My Voice Matters,” by championing the HKF x Bounce Forward Healthy Minds lessons plans via a classroom session with Harry on Zoom and Kate in person to meet the pupils and staff. 
 
The activity was shared across broadcast, radio and online programmes including special features on breakfast, lunchtime and evening news specials.  

 

 

Throughout February 2024, Haven House ran their Miles for Smiles fundraising campaign, with Harry leading the call to action - encouraging the Haven House community and new supporters to step into February with a sponsored 10,000 steps a day walking challenge. Harry’s involvement on social and outdoor media helped Haven House raise over £25,000. 


On January 25th 2024, Harry featured in the nationwide Here4You campaign – a dedicated programme broadcast to over 3,000 secondary schools and more than 1 million 11–14-year-olds across the country as part of a collective effort from the six leading mental health charities.

 

 

On 10th October 2023, World Mental Health Day, HKF marked its one-year anniversary having announced a new partnership with Bounce Forward, a renowned charity that supports children and the adults around them to build resilience and emotional wellbeing. The partnership provides free psychological fitness training and educational resources, designed to nurture and build resilience and emotional wellbeing. These include lesson plans co-authored by Harry and Kate Kane which form part of their Bounce Forward Healthy Minds curriculum. Harry also released a social media edit celebrating the Foundation's achievements during its first year.

 

Throughout Mental Health Awareness Week in May 2023, HKF released a series of activations that kicked off with Harry inviting British F1 Driver George Russell to discuss how important it is to talk openly about mental health and the stigma that surrounds it. Both elite athletes discussed the importance of mental fitness in their respective sports, how to apply positive habits to deal with high-pressure moments, the importance of talking to others and how they recover for the next challenge ahead. The week also included the release of HKF’s second out-of-home billboard campaign on behalf of mental health charity Shout, to raise awareness of the free and confidential 24/7 text messaging service available for anyone struggling to cope.    

 

During Children’s Mental Health Week in February 2023, Harry visited school children to see first-hand how the HKF and Premier League Primary Stars resilience resources were being implemented to help young people overcome setbacks and support goal setting. In addition, throughout the week Harry used his social media platforms and collaborated with experts and award-winning author Rachel Bright to release content on the theme of connection that also signposted children and adults to support services if needed.  

 

In support of Men’s Health Awareness Month in November 2022, Harry joined the Prince of Wales and Declan Rice to highlight that we all have challenges with our mental health, and it can be an everyday topic that we talk about in our daily lives - speaking about it does not have to be difficult or lonely. As part of this activity Harry promoted mental health charity, Shout, which offers support to anyone struggling to cope.    

 

  

On 10th October 2022, Harry launched his Foundation on World Mental Health Day.

Harry took to his social media platforms throughout the day to launch HKF with a series of launch activations that reached a global audience of over 100 million people.  Harry kicked things off by releasing his self-produced animation, entitled Harry Kane: Resilience, which later collected an award at the Smiley Charity Film Awards 2023. 

Additional activities included a surprise and delight session with Harry and school pupils as part of the Foundation’s partnership with the Premier League Primary Stars Programme to provide free-to-download resilience education resources to 18,500 schools across England and Wales. Harry also made his debut on BBC’s iconic CBeebies Bedtime Stories programme when he read ‘The Lion Inside’, a story about confidence and self-belief, written by Rachel Bright.  Harry also unveiled HKF’s first national out-of-home billboard awareness campaign in support of mental health charity, Shout.
