To mark World Mental Health Day, Harry launched a number of exciting activations through his foundation, the Harry Kane Foundation (HKF). Headlining the launch is a new global content series on Harry’s social media channels. The series, which is set to reach a massive audience, will feature some of the world’s biggest sports stars answering Harry’s questions, normalising and promoting the importance of talking positively about mental health.
The lineup includes three-time NBA All-Star Julius Randle, UEFA Europa League winner Son Heung-min, FWA Women’s Footballer of the Year Alessia Russo, and England Captain and Grand Slam winner Maro Itoje.
Aligning with this year’s official World Mental Health Day theme, “access to mental health,” Harry brought together a team of experts from his charity partners Mental Health Innovations (MHI) and Bounce Forward to host a free webinar. The session was available to 500 attendees, guided participants through practical tools focused on building resilience, how to strengthen connections and better support those around them.
Harry added a personal gesture of thanks by inviting HKF beneficiaries for an unforgettable evening at Wembley Stadium. He personally connected with and surprised the guests after the match to thank them for engaging with his Foundation’s work. Among the attendees was Ben, a volunteer and key contributor to LifeSkills, a co-created programme funded by HKF in partnership with MHI. Ben recorded a "day in the life" video highlighting the evening and drawing attention to the upcoming launch of LifeSkills later this month—a new, self-paced learning programme focused on building the resilience young people need to confidently face life's challenges.
